TA LOVAN

Ta LoVan, the son of Lun and Peui (Lothi) LoVan was born June 14, 1975 in Vientiane, Laos. He moved with his family in October of 1981 to Primghar and finished his education graduating from South O’Brien High School in 1994. After graduating he worked for Rosenboom Machine and Tool for three years until 1997. He then moved to Arizona where he lived and worked as a machinist for 15 years. He passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his brother’s home in Spencer, Iowa surrounded by his family, reaching the age of 36 years, 9 months and 17 days.
Ta was a member of the American Reformed Church in Primghar. He enjoyed golfing, the Iowa Hawkeyes, his pickup, his family, friends and his job. He also liked to play blackjack, and having a Guinness beer or a Jack and Coke. While Ta lived in Arizona he enjoyed his visits back to Primghar as he missed his Casey’s donuts and Pizza Ranch chicken.
Ta was known never to be a trouble maker; he was a good son, brother and friend. He will be missed by many.
Ta is survived by his mother Peui of Primghar, Iowa; four sisters, Pheung, Siane, Sai all of Laos and Phian LoVan of Primghar; five brothers, Heup (Phoung) LoVan of Spencer, Iowa, Oun (Somboua) LoVan of Sheldon, Iowa, Toun (Bouasanith) LoVan of Spencer, Iowa, Chi (Sai) LoVan of Spencer, Iowa and twin brother To LoVan of Primghar, Iowa; eight nieces; two nephews all in the United States and nineteen nieces and nephews in Laos; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lun.
