RUBY M. EIDE

Ruby M. Eide, age 65 of Primghar, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 peacefully in her home with her family by her side; following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born on November 26, 1940 in Buffalo, New York to Everett and Ethel (Fox) Turner. She attended Yankton High School in South Dakota. On May 25, 1958, she was united in marriage to Richard Eide, and then later moved to Storm Lake and Newell, Iowa area for a number of years. They moved to Colorado for a short time before returning to Iowa. Making their home in Primghar, Iowa, where Ruby worked for the Baum-Harmon Mercy Hospital with co-workers, that Ruby considered as her extended family for approximately 11 years.
She enjoyed her family and friends, music, reading, sewing, planting flowers and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Rennie Eide and his wife, Lisa of LeMars, Iowa; three daughters, Debra Witzke of Varina, Iowa; Brenda Braunschweig of Holstein, Iowa; Leah Movall and her husband, Larry of Pomeroy, Iowa; three brothers, Ron Turner of Arizona; Terry Turner of Yankton, South Dakota; Chuck Turner of Colorado; her father-in-law, Art Eide of Cherokee, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Diane Langholdt and her family of Cherokee, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ethel Turner and her mother-in-law, Evelyn Eide.
