RANDALL J. GOOSE GINGER
Randall James Ginger, the son of Oliver and Ella (Wagner) Ginger was born on October 5, 1939 in Sutherland, Iowa. He received his education from Calumet High School. While in high school he played basketball and got his nickname Goose from Goose Tatum from the Harlem Globetrotters. For most of his life he worked as a hired man for many farmers in the Calumet area where he lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Darrell and Sandra Rehder. Goose moved to Primghar in 2007. He passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Baum Harmon Mercy Hospital in Primghar, reaching the age of 77 years, 2 months and 19 days.
Goose was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. He loved polka and country music and his favorite cowboy boots. His nieces were very special to his life and he was always known as a jokester.
A couple stories to sum Goose up were: Shelly at Bob and Scotts answered the phone when he called to order groceries Shelly said What do you need today Goose A blonde Shelly Im a brunette Goose Take you anyhow. And his last words in the Emergency Room to the nurse: Nurse Goose are you allergic to anything? Goose Yes, women.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Sandra and her husband, Darrell Rehder of Primghar, Iowa and brother, Delbert Ginger of Britt, Iowa; nieces, Debra Rauhauser and Delia and her husband, Brad Hoffman, all of Moorland, Iowa; Shelly and her husband, Paul Fessler of Peoria, Illinois and Lori and her husband, Earl Dudley of Appleton, Wisconsin; also nieces in Missouri and other relatives and friends.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Dale Ginger; niece, Gwen Ginger and sister-in-law, Betty Ginger.

You're dancing with the angels Walking in new life You're dancing with the angels Heaven fills your eyes Now that you're dancing with the angels

For now we see through a glass,
darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part;
but then shall I know
even as also I am known
