MICHAEL E. CELUS

Michael Eugene Celus, the son of Robert Donald and Marjorie Elizabeth (Thomas) Celus, was born August 20, 1951 at Kewanee, Illinois. He received his education in Annawan, Illinois graduating from Annawan High School in 1969. He went on and attended Black Hawk College. He worked in various positions in Illinois until coming to the Germantown, Iowa area in 1987. On April 15, 1989, he was united in marriage to Lynn Towe in Paullina, Iowa. After their marriage the couple lived in the Germantown area where for all these years Mike was involved in managing hog confinements. He passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his home in Germantown, reaching the age of 57 years, 2 months and 9 days.
He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown and was a member of the Germantown Fire Department. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Cody Ann Celus of Paullina; a brother and his wife, Robert and Patricia Celus of Annawan, Illinois; also many nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Celus.
