Lloyd Daniel Wynia the son of Erwin and Linda (Stevens) Wynia was born August 31, 1973 in Salina, Kansas. He attended school at Leota Christian and Litchfield schools in Minnesota. He moved to Sheldon with his family and finished his education at Sheldon High School graduating in 1992. Lloyd worked at Vogel Paint for 3 years and the last years at Highland Manufacturing in Worthington, Minnesota. He passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Sibley reaching the age of 36 years and 17 days.
Lloyd was an avid Huskers fan, and enjoyed shooting darts, pool and bowling. He loved spending time with family and friends and making everyone around him laugh.
Lloyd is survived by his parents, Erwin and Linda Wynia of Sheldon; his daughter, Shelby of Spirit Lake, Iowa; special friend, Patti King of Round Lake, Minnesota; a sister, Erica Long and her husband, Ryan; and nieces, Paige and Zoey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Jason and his wife, Christina Wynia and nephews Brian, Christopher and Nicholas of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a brother, Juston Wynia of Mitchell, South Dakota; his maternal grandmother, Annie Stevens; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Wynia; also several aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him forever.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harry Stevens; paternal grandfather, Earl Wynia; a cousin, Nathan Wynia and family member, Kyle Rowan.
Lloyd’s memory will live on through “being an Organ Donor” with the Iowa Donor Network.
