LILLIAN M. LATTERELL
Lillian M. Latterell, the daughter of E.D. and Florence (Gilman) King, was born April 17, 1922 in Rosemount, Minnesota. She attended and graduated from Monticello High School. On December 28, 1941 Lillian was united in marriage to Gerald Latterell in Foley, Minnesota. The couple settled in Sheldon in 1957 where Lillian was a homemaker and together they raised six children. She passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Sanford Senior Care in Sheldon reaching the age of 89 years, 7 months and 19 days.
Lillian was a true homemaker and loving mother. She loved to read and enjoyed doing the daily crossword with her husband. She and Jerry enjoyed traveling after his retirement and took many wonderful trips. She made many friends traveling with Jerry and the fiddlers.
She is survived by six children, Kathleen and her husband Keith Landhuis of Sheldon, Iowa, Terry and his wife Janice Latterell of Rice, Minnesota, Bruce and his wife Deb Latterell of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Mary and her husband Rick Boots of Des Moines, Iowa, Daniel and his wife Lauri Latterell of Sheldon, Iowa and Thomas Latterell also of Sheldon, Iowa; one daughter-in-law Barbara Latterell of Pleasant Lake, Minnesota; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; also a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, infant daughter, one sister, and four brothers.
