Karleen Breyfogle

Karleen Breyfogle, age 79, of Pipestone, Minnesota, formerly of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Center in Pipestone, Minnesota. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon, Iowa. Rev. Craig Nissen officiating. Burial at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in rural, Hull, Iowa, following lunch. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, one hour prior to the Funeral Service at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. Karleen Breyfogle was born on October 19, 1938 in Lakeview, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Alma (Jantzen) Faber. She lived her youth in Boyden and Sheldon, Iowa, where she attended school. She worked at Primghar Nursing Home in Primghar, Iowa prior to marriage. She married Roger Breyfogle of Primghar, Iowa on September 12, 1965. They lived in Primghar where Karleen was a homemaker. In 1978, they divorced and Karleen moved to Sheldon, Iowa. Karleen worked at HyVee in Sheldon for many years until retiring in 2011. She moved to Pipestone, Minnesota in 2012. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon. Karleen enjoyed nature, playing cards, fixing puzzles, having her grandchildren around and being with her family. She was a very giving and caring person. She moved to the Good Samaritan Care Center in Pipestone, Minnesota, where she passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Those left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Darla Rassel and friend Marvin Berger of Sheldon, IA, Audrey Stack of Pipestone, MN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Lens of Sheldon, IA and Doreen McCabe of Milford, IA; sister-in-law, Elaine Faber of Sheldon, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Leland Faber, Lyle Faber and Daryl Faber.
