JOSEPH WILLIAM OSBORN
Joseph William Osborn, the son of Charles W. and Teresa L. (Bartlett) Osborn was born July 7, 1981 in Fairmont, Minnesota. He moved with his parents to Sheldon and attended River Valley Alternative School in Rock Valley, Iowa. In 1999, when he turned 18, he became a resident of the Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon, Iowa. Joseph was still living at the Village when he passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2012 at the Sanford Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, reaching the age of 29 years, 10 months and 14 days.
Joey enjoyed rolling around, laughing, playing jokes, being around people and being outside. He enjoyed the water, be it either swimming or when he swam with the dolphins.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Chuck and Teresa Osborn of Elgin, Minnesota; two brothers, Joshua and his wife, Shanda Osborn and their two sons, Caden and Quinn of Harrisburg, South Dakota; and Mathew Osborn of Elgin, Minnesota; his maternal grandmother, Vonna Bartlett of Eagan, Minnesota; and paternal grandparents, Barb and Gary Osborn of Charles City, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael in 2008; and his maternal grandfather, James “Bill” Bartlett in 2003.
