DONALD W. BEERMANN

Donald Walter Beermann, the son of Ronald and Betty (Carlson) Beermann was born October 4, 1954 at Camp Carson, Colorado. He received his education in Gaza for Kindergarten and Grade School was at St. John Lutheran School in Germantown. He graduated from Paullina High School in 1972. Following high school, he worked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a year before returning to Iowa and worked on various farms in the Paullina area. He worked for Wells Dairy in Le Mars for 32 years and the last 3 years has been with Dean Foods in Le Mars. He passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa reaching the age of 56 years, 11 months and 27 days.
He was baptized on October 17, 1954 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado and later confirmed on April 7, 1968 at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown. He was currently a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and golfing.
Don leaves to cherish his memory his special friend, Deborah Isaacson of South Sioux City, Nebraska and her two daughters, Heather(Jesse) Albert and grandson, Jaden and Ashley Isaacson; his parents, Ron and Betty Beermann of Paullina; a sister, Jeannie (Brad) Meyer of Blue Springs, Missouri and brother, Paul Beermann and (fiancé, Dennette Conroy) of Enid, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Benjamin and (Deanne) Meyer, Ryan Beermann, Jamie Meyer Logan and (Mike) and future baby, Logan “peanut”, Shanda Beermann Guinn and (Chad) and their three children and Brittany Beermann; also other relatives and many friends.
Don’s family wishes to give special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at both Mercy Medical Center and June E. Nylen Cancer Center for their excellent care.
