Services for Christy Griebel, age 57, of Paullina who passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28 at First Presbyterian Church in Paullina with Pastor Lynn Dau ~ officiating.

Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.
Visitation with family present will be from 2 - 5 P.M. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Eldridge Family Funeral Home in Paullina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a future donation.
Masks and social distancing are required for the visitation and funeral service
Christine Marie Griebel, the daughter of Howard and Joyce (Rohrs) Craig was born on February 10, 1963, in Primghar, Iowa. She attended school in Paullina, graduating from Paullina High School in 1981. On April 10, 1982, she was united in marriage to Jeffrey Dean Griebel at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown. The couple made their home in Paullina raising their two sons, Derek, and Dillon. Christy was employed at Staples for many years where she worked in account services. Christy passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at her home in Paullina, reaching the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
Christy was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Paullina. She enjoyed baking, boating, shopping, and spending time with her work family and collaborating. She most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a woman full of grace, compassion, and optimism. She was the rock of her family as they were everything to her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jeff; two sons and their wives, Derek and Jennifer Griebel of Paullina and Dillon and Stephanie Griebel of Hartley, Iowa; six grandchildren, Alex, Anna, Allison, Adalynn, Colin & Blair Griebel; mother, Joyce Craig of Paullina; two siblings, Laura (Dennis) Templer of Sutherland, Iowa and Lonnie (Dawn) Craig of Paullina; parents-in-law, Marlo and Arlis Griebel of Sioux City, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Christy was preceded in death by her father, Howard Craig and twin grandsons, Abel and Bennett Griebel.
