Alfred Kenneth Chambers the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Aldred) Chambers was born July 14, 1943 in Primghar, Iowa. He received his education in Primghar. He joined the U.S. Navy serving his country. On December 31, 1982 he was united in marriage to Cecelia Drelach in Las Vegas, Nevada. After their marriage the couple lived in El Monte, California until moving to Primghar in 1992. A.K. was first employed at the packing plant in Hartley and then worked for Den Hartog Industries in Hospers for 12 years, retiring in 2006. His retirement years were spent in Primghar. He passed away on Friday April 9, 2010 at the Baum-Harmon Mercy Hospital in Primghar reaching the age of 66 years, 8 months and 25 days
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Primghar and the American Legion in Primghar.
A.K. is survived by his wife Cece of Primghar, one son Kenny Chambers of Primghar and one daughter Jennifer Chambers of Primghar, three grandchildren Samuel, Evie-Rose and Kendra , his mother Dorothy Chambers of Primghar, two sisters Sandra Perlin of Temple City, California and Peggy Hosbach of Covina, California, also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Wayne.
